SS Imp was a trendsetter and it is a bad car. They are by no means slow they were really before there time.  It just that the grand nat is more rare and its fast and one of a kind so that is why i pick the Natty. Id really take a 94 Imp because its the rarest one

Well just to make it clear Grand Nat is still my pic but I was just sayin that if I were to get an imp Id get the 94 just to be different. I only like the floor shifter in the 96. I think the 95 is the fastest though Mr.Clean. Correct me if Im wrong because you know Im a ford man but IMPALASSRYDER told me 95 was the fastest

dont listen to that guy he's  drives  a DCM  and its a 95 ftl LoL  but some people say 94s are lighter  .I have drove  a 94's 95's and 96 's  they all feal different to me

the distributor  thats sits under the water pump   on the LT1 engine   .poor design by chevorlet  .MSD makes a water proof   that is  works pretty good  or you can by a coil pack setup  off an LS based motor  and delete the  dis opti

i like coil on plug them damn cassetes are high as fuck if you fuck em up though. msd got singles for them vics, but msd is bs for twin coil gm coil packs.

 

 

but im confused about this now, its all opinions first but what impala in history can hold its own with a gn(gnx dont even have to be brought up) i dont care if we talking 1964 409 v8 imps still not a gran national. i mean cum on vettes had to be modded to hang out with lil v6(year for year) and even a t type is more of a conversation than an imp. sorry just calling it like i see it dont mean to ruffle your racing flags lol

hmm how do i put this simple??? 265hp can be an average rating, 260hp for imp can be peak. and lets look at the torque and then compare the curves to a lt1 imp. and that 409 64ss was fast. and gn depending on year did not have that much power just to let you know more like 245. but we can go on and on but i have to speak on v6s, go race a v6 camaro and see if a 96 impala wins. and lt1s have no topend stock. not dogging them but truth is the truth. gnx numbers were 0-60 under 5 secs and sub 14 sec 1/4 mile. that damn callaway cant even do that and it has 400+ horses.

im not defending a gn because i dont have one . but guess what else any force inducted 231 fwd or rwd has better times than a lt1 b body. so g body,w body, f body, k body> b body lol im j/p. but i go off real world testing/ personal experience. i never seen an impala taillights before and neither the vette the motor that gave the imp its motor, but that aint impessive to me either. i wanna run a new vette but i know right now i dont wanna see 1. oh and i was stock when i was talking bout imps, because anything goes when modded. but i had some mods when i ran away from a c5. but late 80s and early 90s vettes were slow didnt need mods to beat them

i had the paperwork since 2000 lol. i read it up and down and wouldnt mine having a t type. i know i would be fake but so that look is hard, imp is still a legend in my book but gn is a different fruit. and gm is my fav choice but dont think i wont push a jfk continnental (to many n's)

pontiac had a vette killer before the stingray(it look like a sting ray to) but got cancelled before production so it wouldnt out do the vette. but i still gota quote this so theres no more questions about how bad these buicks were
